Reaching out for help is courageous and intimidating. Who you choose to invite into your journey is a very important decision. That’s why I believe the strength of the therapeutic relationship is essential for transformation, empowerment, and healing to take place. I utilize my empathetic and relational oriented style to form authentic alliances during this life changing work.

I use approaches from evidence-based theories including psychodynamic, CBT and feminist theory. Our environments influence us heavily which is why I observe each human experience uniquely through the lenses of societal and cultural realities. I can partner with you to build insight towards yourself, identify strengths, develop coping skills, improve relationships, live in accordance to your values, increase holistic health and improve overall functioning.

I have extensive experience working in a wide variety of behavioral health settings. I am passionate about approaching care through a holistic lens taking into account each individual’s physical, emotional and spiritual health. Additionally, I can work with your medical provider to support comprehensive care.

I am firmly committed to providing culturally informed care while honoring all identity markers. I strive to create a safe space for everyone including the LGBTQIA+ community, differently abled folks, and people of color.
